Lindsay Lohan is using her time under house arrest productively - she's reportedly attempting to quit her smoking habit after she was snapped with an electronic cigarette.
The Mean Girls star is currently holed up in her Venice, California home, where she is serving a 120-day sentence for a probation violation stemming from a 2007 Dui charge.
Lohan was previously said to be spending her days exploring new hobbies and plotting her acting comeback, and it appears she's also on a health kick - she has been photographed sucking on a Blue Cigs anti-smoking aide, which aims to help smokers curb their nicotine addictions to ween them off the habit, reports Eonline.com.
The actress was handed the jail sentence in April (11) and ordered to complete 480 hours of community service after she was accused of stealing a necklace from a jewellery store in January (11).
TMZ and People Magazine have both run several stories on Lohan since her house arrest, and TMZ got a photo of LiLo sitting on her desk, supposedly "reading scripts" in preparation for a post-house arrest career revival.
Lohan also posed outside of her home for Blu Cigs, an electronic cigarette company that is amongst the few remaining companies willing to be associated with Lohan. A few different gossip outlets have photos of this.
And, by the way, Lohan is apparently breaking the rules of her house arrest by stepping outside of the doors and going into her yard. People reports on the terms of her house arrest and what she can and can't do:
ALLOWED• Leaving home only for medical appointments or to go to the probation department, as long as advance notice is given.
• Visitors can come and go without restrictions.
• Unlimited phone and Internet use.
NOT ALLOWED• Going outside the “interior premises” of the home without prior authorization; that’ll set off her ankle bracelet.
• Going to work-related events outside the home. (Lohan also can’t perform her community service while confined.)
• Tampering with the ankle bracelet, which would sound an alarm to her monitors.
